Dab the AIDS BEAR Project is a grassroots organization of concerned citizens affected and effected by HIV and AIDS. Our goal through HIV awareness, education and prevention is preventing new cases of HIV while helping empower HIV+ citizens.

Due to the Ryan White Care Act and ADAP (AIDS Drug Assistance Program) Waiting List financial crisis in the United States; American citizens have been denied access to life saving medications and treatments. From 2001 - 2007 at times more than 1,000 American men, women and children were left for dead on these waiting lists. We help raise desperately needed funds for life saving medications and services for our fellow HIV+ American men, women and children.

Because of inadequate funding for public health assistance programs, too many American men women and children with HIV and AIDS have died waiting without hope while waiting to be rescued. In South Carolina, four more Americans died in December 2006 while on the AIDS Drug Assistance Program waiting list.

No man, woman or child in our great country should ever have to give up hope.
