Brandon Macsata

It is with great honor we announce Brandon Macsata as our Dab's Angel for May 2009.
Brandon works tirelessly for Americans with HIV and AIDS. His career as a political consultant involves him working on behalf of people with disabilities, including those of us with HIV/AIDS.
It touches his life personally because Brandon has been HIV-positive since March 2002; his boyfriend at the time failed to think it was important to share that piece of information with him.
Brandon was reared by his parents to "forgive" and he did, but ever since Brandon has dedicated much of his professional and personal life to helping others living with the disease overcome the stigma associated with it.
Brandon's message: GO EDUCATE YOURSELF!!! Ignorance is deadly!!! We are NOT ashamed by this disease!
For these and many more reasons, we are proud to announce Brandon Macsata as Dab's Angel for May 2009!
On a personal note: Brandon's help with furnishing the latest in information has made our jobs as a leaders and activists so much easier. His time consuming research saves many hours for us to be in DC, Tallahassee or working in the field. So here is a big bear hug from Daddy Dab and the crew to Brandon.
