Dab's Angel February 2008 Shannon Nelson

Our Dab's Angel for February 2008 is Shannon Nelson. Shannon has been employed with the Minority AIDS Coalition for over 5 years and has served as Secretary for the Board of Directors. After receiving his own HIV disgnosis in 2002, Shannon immediately became an ardent voice among HIV/AIDS activists in Northeast Florida.

In 2007, Shannon was the Chair of the Northeast Florida World AIDS Day Committee serving to motivate community involvement. He has also joined Jaxx Black Pride, Inc. as a committee member. He has volunteered for such organizations and events as River Region Human Services, Inc; the Duval County Health Department and AIDS Walk 2006.

For these and many more reasons, we are proud to announce Shannon B. Nelson as our Dab's Angel for February 2008.
