Dab's Angel January 2008 First Coast Chorus

Our first Dab's Angel for 2008 is the First Coast Chorus of Jacksonville, Florida. The First Coast Chorus' mission is to better our community by building social consciousness through quality entertainment and sharing of financial support.

The chorus was founded 1999 and has 30+ voice and they have performed in over 13 concerts. By singing with their hearts and their voices, over $11,000 has been donated to local charities by the chorus since their inception.

They have unselfishly donated their time to many events and causes. Many of their members also donate time outside of the chorus. For this and many more reasons, the First Coast Chorus is our Dab's Angel for January 2008.



(On a personal note - I've had the honor of performing with and/or knowing a lot of the people in the First Coast Chorus. I had the pleasure every week of hearing them rehearse for the first few concerts as they were practicing in the back of the store I was managing and have enjoyed watching the group as it has grown and matured.

I and the members of Dab the AIDS Bear Project are so thankful for all the great teddy bears the First Coast Chorus donated for our Teddy Bear Touchdown. We wish them continued success in all their endeavors. - Daddy Dab)
