Dab's Angel October 2007 Connie DeVaughn

Our DAB's Angel for October 2007 is Connie DeVaughn. Connie is with Catholic Charities in Jacksonville, Florida. She works with people who need emergency housing assistance, food bank and other services.

She has come to the rescue of so many individuals with HIV/AIDS in the Duval County area. Connie also serves and volunteers with several organizations and boards of directors in pursuit of quality services and health care for the HIV/AIDS community.

From her dedication to providing quality life saving services, her volunteer work, great outgoing caring personality, and her strive for excellence; Connie DeVaughn is our DAB's Angel for October 2007.

(On a personal note: I personally have seen the difference Connie and the rest of the staff at Catholic Charities make helping people with HIV and AIDS keep the roof over their head to avoid ending up in a shelter and making sure they have food to eat. The work this woman and this organization does deserves all of our thanks. - Daddy Dab)
