BRINGING HOPE BACK

.

Dab the AIDS BEAR Project is a grassroots project of concerned citizens joined together to raise HIV awareness and desperately needed emergency funds for AIDS Service Organizations.

Because of the Ryan White Act and ADAP (AIDS Drug Assistance Program) Waiting List financial crisis in the United States, during 2007 more than 600 American men women and children were denied hope and access to quality health care and life saving medications even after qualifying for government sponsored ADAP services.

There are even more fellow Americans (18,000) living in other parts of the United States that have limitations on benefits and medications available to them so those states could avoid having a waiting list. These Americans have to sacrifice quality health care because of lack of government funding and assistance.

Since 1999 when funding was first decreased, more than 35 men, women and children have died while waiting for HIV medications even though they qualified for AIDS Drug Assistance Program services.

ALL PROFITS provide life saving HIV medications and emergency services for financially challenged Americans with HIV/AIDS.

An American man, woman or child should never have to give up hope... Hope is stronger than any medication.

Help us to give our fellow men, women and children with HIV and AIDS hope again.

"Take care of your fellow American as if they were your own brother... They ARE."

Our goals are educating communities about HIV and AIDS, assisting with access to HIV/AIDS programs and services for the HIV+ community, and raising public awareness to the ADAP financial crisis in the United States.

Through education, fund raising, public relations, virtual media, and published materials; journey with us out of a world of ignorance and discrimination into a better world of acceptance, love and hope.
