MEN OF HOPE - offers a gay men's support and advocacy group and meets the third Monday at 2pm. Their goal is to provide support to each other and our community through leadership, services and continued prevention efforts. Group meetings are located at Northeast Florida AIDS Network at 2715 Oak Street. For more information, contact Nathaniel Hendley at 356-1612 ext. 27

POSITIVE ATTITUDES - offers a mixed group and meets each Tuesday evening from 7:00 - 9:00 P.M. Every third Tuesday, a pot-luck social is held and group members are encouraged to bring a guest. All meetings are confidential. Call us today: (904) 348-8664 or e-mail us at: posatt123@aol.com.

HEALING WOMEN offers a support group for women which meets every 2nd and 4th Tuesday from 12 - 2 p.m. at 2715 Oak St. at the NFAN offices. Healing Women also meet on the 3rd Saturday of each month for a special event. For more information contact Marion Merritt @ (904) 356-1612 Ext.10.

The HIV/AIDS CHRISTIAN WOMENS COALITION Support Group meets every 2nd and 4th tues. of each month. This is a closed group for infected women only! Our meeting is held at Shand's Hospital. Because it is a closed group all interested persons should contact Willie Roberts @ 244-6515

THE ROSE WOMEN'S SUPPORT GROUP - meets at BCCC for more information contact Alice Heard at 253-1292.

THE THORNS MEN'S SUPPORT GROUP - for more information contact Michale Speed at 253-1309. The THORNS are a heterosexual men's HIV/AIDS support group.



CRC (Rational Living Group) has a mixed group that meets Tuesdays from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at Community Rehabilitation Center Inc. 623 Beechwood St. Jacksonville, FL. Call (904) 358-1211 Ext. 125 for further information and requirements.

SURVIVORS meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursday from 5:30 - 6:30pm at 888 Franklin St. Call (904) 359-0457 ext. 8097.

JASMYN offers a safe space for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth that will nurture health and well-being and enhance pride and self-esteem. The Youth Drop In Center, located at the JASMYN House, 923 Peninsular, offers a safe place to meet friends, educational programs, and recreational activities. It is open Friday, 4:00 - 10:00 p.m. and Saturday, 2:00 - 10:00 p.m. to all youth ages 13-23. SPECTRUM, a group for young gay, bisexual and curious guys meets on Thursdays from 4:00-10:00 p.m. to build a strong and supportive community. This group is for young GBQ men regardless of HIV status. Positive Tomorrows is a support group for HIV positive youth ages 13-23 and meets on Saturday from 4pm - 5pm. The Women's Center of Jacksonville/ HIV/AIDS Voices Program offers two weekly therapuetic Groups for Positive Women on Wednesdays. The ADAPT group is 4 p.m.- 5:30 p.m. and VOICES Group is 7 p.m.-8 p.m. Please call904) 722-3000 to register.

Shands Hospital offers a Men's and Women's Spiritual Support Group the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays at noon. Willie Roberts facilitates and can be reached at (904) 244-6515. Call her or have the participant call in advance. 6tth floor NICU conference room.

Rainbow Center offers an educational luncheon for women the last Tuesday of the month at 12 noon. Call (904) 244-7510 for more information.
