Emergency Conference Call
Welcome to another day in my life. Today is Thursday and I hope you are having a safe and great week so far. We are still having chilly mornings here in South Florida but it is nothing compared to the situation in many other parts of the country.
I had an early appointment at Broward House with John Raymond to transfer my AICP (AIDS Insurance Continuation Program). He was very nice and personable. It only took about a half hour to sign all the paperwork. Then John took me in to meet their Chief Operating Office who is Kathleen Cannon. We talked about my work with HIV and AIDS, Dab the AIDS Bear and our Teddy Bear Touchdowns for children with HIV and AIDS. I gave her one of our teddy bear pins and she gave me a Broward House pin and one from the Smart Ride. Then John took me in to speak with Joey who is an old friend and just got back in town from the Positive Living Conference and lobbying in Tallahassee.
Then it was time to head back to the house so I could take the dogs for a walk. Right after we got back from our walk, Michael Rajner called to drop off my present from the attendees from the Positive Living Conference. They had all signed a tshirt as I had mentioned and put it on a huge teddy bear. I was so touched.
Now I would like to talk about an emergency situation. Everyone knows how I am against ADAP waiting lists. Well Louisiana and South Carolina have both announced this week both states are starting ADAP waiting lists. So please participate in a call we have coming up. Here are the details and please share with your friends:
